The comp, a team's mix of classes and specs, is the unit of training. A team trains together toward a shared win, and any agent in it can be replaced by a human player.
Starting comps#
| Bracket | Comp | Status |
|---|---|---|
| 2v2 | Subtlety Rogue / Discipline Priest | The first comp. Its mechanics are validated by live tests, and the two bugs the triage requires fixed before any training (a crowd-control recast that should fail but lands, and buffs cast on pets before the gates open carrying into the match) are fixed; a difference in when diminishing returns reset is still open. |
| 2v2 | Subtlety Rogue / Frost Mage | Loadouts in place; checking the mage's mechanics comes next. |
| 2v2 | Frost Mage / Discipline Priest | As above. |
| 3v3 | Subtlety Rogue / Frost Mage / Discipline Priest (RMP) | First 3v3 comp, after 2v2 trains reliably. |
Phase 2 trains all three 2v2 comps, including matches between them.
Progression#
- 2v2 before 3v3.
- Within a bracket: one meta comp, then a few, then more.
- Meta loadouts first; other builds later.
- Each step is taken once the previous one trains reliably.
A new comp's classes have their mechanics validated before it trains, as the first comp's were.
